[Closed] long shot question on seimens s7 CPUs

You never know but i'll ask, is there anyone on here who knows about seimens s7 controllers and specifically if you have the step 7 software, i'm having a bit of a nightmare with the MMC card etc. we are based in chester but id travel a reasonable distance if there is anyone who can help!!

Last time I worked with Seimens, it was S5..so can't really help. Does this provide any pointers....

As above I only have previous with S5 and over the past decade have mostly used GEM80.

Siemens are only up the road in Manchester so might be worth a call?

Cheers guys, i've downloaded s7 lite so am going to work on it from that angle first although as with most industrial computers it not a case of plug and play!!!.

What problem are you having.....I have used S7 a lot in the past but a bit rusty at present, still might remember some of the problems we had....also still have all the manuals for reference and S7 controllers on site at present

I work - as IT, not engineering - in a very reputable automation control consultancy..

We're based in Blackburn (bit of Google-fu will find us easily).
