[Closed] Local Shops are Fantastic.

Just experienced some fantastic customer service. I needed a tiny 3.5mm jack to jack cable - 5cm long.

Currys/ PC World - "no mate 1.2m is the shortest that you can get £12.99"

E-bay - 15cm £1.27 delivered, it would do the job but not ideal and I want one today!

So I try my local TV shop, Deeping TV Services, on the off chance.

Me - "I don't suppose you have a really short cable?"

DTV - "No, but what do you want it for."

Me - "Connecting my i-pod to my car's aux socket."

DTV - "I know what you mean, i'll make you one, have you considered right angle connectors it will make the whole thing much neater."

10 mins later and I have the perfect custom built piece of cable, exactly what I wanted and all for the princley sum of £2.50.

Made my day - just had to share.
