Am I correct in stating that the slope off the end used to be a lot steeper than it is now? I remember when I first did it about 4 yrs ago a number of the lads I was with chose not to ride off the end.. they lowered their bikes down it and slid down... I remember riding off the end and praying... it seems so tame now.. anyone else remember this point or do I go back on the pills?
I remember it being alot scarier the first time I did it- so probably that? After the first time you always find something lest daunting etc?
Hora I feel dirty and wrong after seeing that pic of you
they lowered their bikes down it and slid down...
*Musn't laugh, really musn't laugh, mtb is just about getting out and riding, having fun on bikes, doesn't matter how fast or big you go, oh balls....*

Oh the temptation to pointlessly bump my thread. I won't though, that really p****s me off. 🙂
Seriously though, if you do need help with those toys......... 😛
I hope you enjoyed Llandegla, I've never been to the centre. Next year I expect to be in the UK so I will be visiting, 100mm or 130mm fork? You should really drop into Wrecsam if you get the chance, tourist hotspot of N.E. Wales. 😆
I'm actually thinking of visiting tomorrow am and taking in the pumptrack..
Wrecsam or LLandegla?
Gonna rain tomorrow. Go later in the afternoon when it gets quiet.
I'm going next sunday afternoon. I was ****ed by the time I got to the pump track
OH yeah I noticed none of the welsh could spell Wrexham properly, what's that all about?
I had a go in the bike skillz area. Was fun. Deffo need a bike for that bit. What travel I couldn't tell you, I'm a girl after all. Probably needs wheels though?
Wrexham used to be in wales until recently. 100mm travel is fine. you can do Llandegla on a rigid. Having done it myself i can confirm that.
OH yeah I noticed none of the welsh could spell Wrexham properly, what's that all about?
It's just to confuse you! 😉 Don't worry about it.

Impressed. Its changed a wee bit since my last visit -well in some parts its an open moorland now 😯
Love the detour away from the little shack down a steep rocky roll in and the pump and skills area- thank you 🙂 At the start of the black route proper theres a hairpin around a tree- thats pure evil. Caught me out big time and I almost went over the bars!
one criticism - why didnt you think of these before?!!! 😆
I was there today lookin like a pikey on me handjob, May have crossed paths. (Or passed you 🙂 )
You did, (I think) I clocked your Cove. I was on a hardtail wearing an Army camouflaged-jacket.
Who were those people standing at the exit ramp of the overhead northshore! 🙄
I was also there today - tall bloke on a Trek Remedy.
We were near the northshorte for a while, but out of the way on the fireroad. Had to change a tube after jumping off the end and getting a puncture from a flat landing - doh! 😳
Edit - looking forward to having a go on the section after the pump track when its open!!
I don't know! but I genuinly nearly ploughed straight into them at full pelt. Could have been very very messy. Had a good day though and my ankle did'nt flair up too much. Happy days. Hope you had a good day.
