Been riding with a small group of friends on a Wednesday evening round the Wirral since 2003 and we still find the odd new bit (though much is boaderline cheeky).
Thurstaton is great as a playground but its mostly NT, best time to go is when its pissing down as the place is deserted and the sandstone rock is grippy (great skin remover).
Heswall Dales run is a good laugh and some of the steps/drops are getting quite big from water erosion.
A41 to chester then M53 to junction 1, then follow signs for the ferries, seacombe ferry, turn left at the roundabout with traffic lights and its on the right hand side, the other ferry will take you to ireland.
Free parking there theres also Spaceport in the old ferry building along with a aquarium.
If you are a police constable looking for a suspect then I imagine that Liverpool is as good a place as any to visit..
St Helens is nearby and is very picturesque.
Have put together a nice quick 3k loop on Bidston Hill with some nice single track down bits, just need to be careful what time you go up there as can getv crowded with the chavs from B'head North.
Oh, all the really original jokes are coming out now. ๐
YNWA on the Kop on a European night...one of the unique experiences in life. Like many others, I'd have loved to have experienced standing only but too young. Have had storming days and nights in Liverpool. The more beer I have, the more the Dublin and Liverpool accents sound one and the same.
Oh if you go in the car to liverpool, dont lock the doors, as they dont need to smash the windows then, and take some bricks, a good pile if you have some nice alloy wheels, then when you come back youll find the car placed on them as the wheels wil be gone, makes it easier for the AA man to fit new ones,if the car is off the ground. ๐
Everywhere is worth a visit once I was once told. They obviously hadn't been to Clacton On Sea, as for Liverpool, I liked it.
