Your thinking of ghosts. Ghosts don't exist. Positivity is a bad think in a storm, especially with lightning around.

Of course storms exist.

Much as i hate that dancing phrase, the person I first heard use it was one of our kids schoolfriends mum. She'd already had breast cancer and it came back as brain cancer. She died a year later.

Sure, you decide your response and she was determined to extract as much enjoyment from her remaining days as she could, but telling her to not let her storm exist....what bollocks, frankly.

You're very good at 'ignoring' whatever problems life might throw at you, and i admire you for it, but telling people that whatever is going on in their life to ignore it and not let it exist has actually made me quite angry.

I thought that was birds? Jesus it gets harder to follow the plot. And no I'm not going to rise to the obvious grammatical error, planted to hook in the unwary...

I' ve let storms pass which is perhaps why I haven't died of exposure, been crushed by a falling tree, burried in an avalanche etc.. Fair weather fairy me. Storms are recovery time.

Take happiness from the small things in life.

Stay away from social media (actually all media) as much as possible.

Balance is key, try to stay away from extremes in life.

Food is much more tasty and fulfilling after exercise.

Manners cost nothing but pays huge in return

I wasn't telling you to ignore it... I was telling you how i deal with it. Jeez this place at times picks and interprets things differently to how they're written.

Do not go gentle into that good night....

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Dylan Thomas

I bought AccuWeather Premium and it's been great until they introduced Premium plus. I'm going to be mighty sore if that tier detects storms.

That is the the nature of any form of communication though isnt it. Artists put out a work of art and the viewer òr listener re-interprets it. Same thing with communication on here, and actual person to person conversation , well there the re-interpretation is instant.
Terrifying isnt it😁

If a post annoys you on here... ignore it... leave it for an hour or 2. Then you realise how inconsequential it all is.
I try to stick by that, but sometimes people are dicks aren't they!? 😂

You didn't. You wrote 'Storms don't exist' not 'I don't let storms exist'  In fact I even paid you a compliment because i know you can do that, but many of us suffer from real physical and / or mental health difficulties and don't have the ability to just not let them bother us. Denying someone that their feelings are very real, or the 'there's plenty worse off than you' is a trigger EVEN IF YOU'RE TECHNICALLY CORRECT.

If a post annoys you on here… ignore it… leave it for an hour or 2.

I agree - and i did (maybe not for an hour or two but that wasn't my first response).  Ask me again now and I'm still annoyed by it, so i stand by my comment.

Storms do exist. For some they are small, for some they are large, others may just find them inconsequential. Right now my storm is very big, so please don't tell me I shouldn't feel like I do. Sure, I'm trying to dance through it too.....
