Good to know. I usually get the aldi one for making my sloe gin. Will give the lidl one a go this year and report back in dec/Jan 😀

Me and the other half drink the Hortus one from Lidl, it's lovely!

Been consuming this for yonks.
£15.99 a bottle and very good.
Nearly the equivalent of Pickerings gin at less than half the price.

The Hortus yes, but the cheaper Castelgy is winning too

Tried it and it's a good straight gin but for me not quite in the same league as Nordes, Brockmans, Slingsby Rhubarb etc etc..... premium stuff that we sell loads of. BUT, it's all down to personal taste and budget ...and it's pretty good basic stuff for it's price point and target market.
