Thank you, it's a composite of roughly 12 images and lot of post processing much more than I normally like to do. I feel like it's cheating but the final image looks so cool I can live with it.
Took one photo to get the tower exposed correctly. I think this was around 30secs, it was quite dark and I used a low ISO to reduce noise. The sunset on this image was blown out and mostly white.
Took another photo to get the sunset exposed so that the colours stood out I think this was around 2 secs, I also increased the saturation a lot and used a warm white balance setting again to bring out the orangey hues. The tower in this shot was mostly black and like a silhouette.
Then multiple 5 sec shots for the ISS stitched together to form one continuous line. It was still twilight so I couldn't use a longer exposure as the sky was becoming very bright and hard to separate the ISS from the sky. I then increased the contrast to make the ISS stand out from the sky a bit more.
I then merged all three photos together (the tower, the sunset and the ISS trail) using layer masks to only select the part I want from each photo to create the final image. The camera was fixed on a tripod the whole time so no alignment needed between each photo.

Not technically a great photo although taken with a smartphone but I love this shot I took from the hotel window in Kinshasa, looking down the Congo river towards the Stanley Rapids, which stretch from Kinshasa for 350 kms to the Atlantic. Above the rapids from Kin upstream everything moved by river steamer but the entire, massive Belgian river shipping industry is now rusting and derelict. Look on Google Earth and you'll see hundreds of rusting, sinking barges moored along the port. That's the start of the rapids, in the distance.
