Have a lot of (built lego), also have a lot of wall space. Have some big sets (millennium falcon, star destroyer, etc) and loads of smaller/mid size stuff and a mountain of mini figs. I know the big sets might need a case, but was interested if people have used hangers from companies like https://www.wickedbrick.com/collections/wall-mounts with any success?

I am also wondering if this is my excuse to finally buy a 3D printer tho 😉

don't want tiles. Shelf we could do but I like the idea of mounting them in a more interesting way.

This kind of thing:

I had a similar question recently. I’ve ordered one of these to see what it’s like:

oh some good stuff on ebay. Will check that out thanks. The shuttle one looks a good option for a test.

I bodged a mount for the Falcon. Bought one of the Chlego mounts off aliexpress and worked it into a (very poor) thing that clips into the undercarriage bays. Needed to remove the bottom turret too.

Also fitted an LED strip in pale blue. Trouble is, the upper panels shift around a fair bit so you need to find ways of stabilising them. And I'd hooked the mount onto some wood battens... which were nailed onto the wall. And the 4 tiny nails gave up the ghost leaving the whole thing dangling backwards. I still need to rebuild the top 🙄

That was my worry with AE stuff. At last the eBay stuff is UK sourced so you can return it if it's rubbish. I'll try one and if that doesn't work we're back to shelves.
