Weather report for the entire of the summer....
Sun, hot, sun, warm, sun, hotter, sun, very pleasant, sun, very hot, brief respite and some cooler conditions, sun, sun, sun.
Yesterday – more of the same.
This morning – still dry, but a bit cooler.
My 17 yr old daughters and all their friends go to the festival, get their tents up, and within an hour it is *torrential* rain, three of the four tents are leaking a bit, the fourth is basically a tea bag.
So, rather than having a nice quiet night with my wife, we're rushing around, buying waterproof tapes, plastic sheeting (thankfully I had a load in the garage), liasing with other parents, trying to get stuff to them.
Still, it's a life experience isn't it?
