And he was a friendly giant, who shook my hand, and his hands were like a farmer's hands, big and strong.

I met him in real life once, but I was half way through a solo Dusk Til Dawn disaster and I was too knackered to think of anything to say, I could only grunt and nod. But he was friendly and encouraging nevertheless.

So, that's all I have to say about Our Glorious Editor.

Last night I had a dream where the team at STW decided to give me a free premier subscription......

.....and they sent me a free bike because they realised that my one's a bit shit ......

...and they commanded the IT boffins to install a "Perchy is Awesome" button on the forum and every time a user pressed it I received 5 pounds, delivered directly to my house , tucked into the waistband of Natalie Imbruglia's pants.

Hope it comes true.

I saw Chipps in real life exiting a portaloo at last year's Dyfi enduro. I was too busting for a pee to offer my adulation so just headed for the now vacant portaloo (which smelt of roses and godliness ๐Ÿ™‚ ).

The button's been there for months perchy, has no one pressed it yet? ๐Ÿ™

Maybe.......I'm out at work most of the day.

I'll check the garden when I get home in case Natalie's stuck in the shrubbery, unable to move due to the crushing weight of her enormous, fiver-laden pants.

You've no idea how much effort goes into painting those blades of grass.

True fact; I've taken Natalie Imbruglia's dog for a walk.

Whether that's a euphemism, I'll leave to your imagination.

Dreamt is preferred in UK English, but either is acceptable.

I met Chipps once at the London Cycle Show about 3/4 years ago. I said hello, mentioned I used the forum, he asked who I was.. I told him.. he rolled his eyes and said "yeah, I know you"

I walked away, saddened a little.

I have been pressing it repeatedly, maybe I need to try using a finger instead.

I like dreamed, it seems more evocative. I like dreamt because I can't think of a single other word that ends in mt. English eh. Chipps never remembers who I am, why would he, but chips and me have always got on famously.

POSTED 40 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

The other words ending in 'mt' are all variations of dreamt, googled that btw. Everyday is a school day!

I met Chipps at a Cycle Show a few years ago.

At least, I went up to introduce myself, got a monosyllabic grunt in return from a bloke who looked too hungover to give a **** about the people who helped pay his wages, so I gave up and went for a proper chat with Cy on the Cotic stand over the way.

Well I dreamt I was riding a unicycle brilliantly and then I rode a massive drop off - on a scooter last night.
