[#6213023]

The original plan was to go camping this weekend but with the poor weather expected this has been binned. So now I need ideas for a last minute choice on weekend away. Last time I asked Oxford was suggested which ended up being a great weekend, hoping someone suggests something equally as good.

Looking for somewhere nice with both outdoorsy and indoor stuff depending on weather and within 2-2.5 hour drive from Bristol.

The Gower? We 'glamped' there last autumn. Bit rainy, but still enjoyed it.

Here's where we stayed, really fun and great location. Lovely uninterrupted views across the peninsula.

I'm in Bristol too, thinking about getting away as well so interested to see what other suggestions come up!

AirBnB app, loads of places at great prices. What about picking wherever on the met office forecast has the best weather? it's what I normally do.

Mates got a lovely gaff on air bnb in Brixton. Really cool place to hang out and all the joys of that London a 60 second walk to the bus stop away.

Going to pop down to Swansea and hopefully visit Gower if weather is ok but should be enough to do whatever the weather. So any recommendations for a nice place to eat in Swansea? It's my other halfs birthday so somewhere a bit fancier would be great to treat her

Weekend of surfing lessons? Temps not bad and you'll be getting wet anyway.

Malaga. Seriously.
Lovely non-touristy city with plenty do do close by.

Spent last weekend in Cambridge, probably the highest number of cyclists anywhere and we went to 4 musuems, incluing Fitzwilliam (huge collection of art and brilliant section of armour and weaponry) and the Scott Polar musuem all of which were free, loads of places to eat, drink and see a band too but easy to walk across in 30 minutes.
