Last Isis
Next Clutch followed by Converge the night after.
Last one was a "lesser known" band called Heavens Basement in a tiny venue. They were awesome - great atmosphere and very loud 😀
Next is Lady Gaga in September 😆
Marc Almond at the Jazz Cafe a couple of weeks back. Thought I'd hate it, but it was a really good night.
Nothing else planned, I think (and hope), it's difficult to get out these days without the kids. We've got tickets still stuck to the fridge for Jack Johnson a few days back and Lady Gaga in May that we never ended up using. Waste of money. 😕
Last was **** Buttons in Bristol
Next actually booked is the Belle and Sebastian ATP in December, but looking at Foals, Beach House, Bonnie Prince Billy before then if I've got cash. I've got no holiday until next July, so no festies this summer for me :cries:
Nickelback September 08 NEC.
Last session was Wired playing at son's wedding two weeks ago. What a great night.
I was going to ride over to Hook Norton tonight for The Hamsters playing outdoors and to check out the local produce in the beer tent.
It seems I'm staying at home for a bbq instead. 😥
Dropkick Murphies at the Barrowlands! Was very good, even with lots of mental weggies. Nothing lined up.
Last: Dan Reed at King Tut's Glasgow (just awesome)
Next: Alice in Chains at O2 Academy Glasgow, then Alter Bridge at the same venue. Finally, Richie Kotzen at the O2 ABC in Glasgow, can't wait for that one. Hopefully some more coming up too 🙂
Last gig - Paul McCartney at Cardiff Millennium Stadium (last weekend).
Next - Andrea Bocelli at the Teatro del Silenzio on 25th of this month
Sorry...
Last was Green Day at LCC.
Next Sonisphere at Knebworth. Rammstein. Fire!
Last - Rollins spoken word (sort of a gig), next - New Model Army next month. Yes, i am old.
Ah, so its you lot that keeps all these old bands going well beyond their sell-by date 😉
I think the last one was Tempest Trap in Bournemouth
Next booked is Flying Lotus in London (this )
Most recently purchased tickets was Doom in Brighton (excited like a kid!)
Last night: Skerryvore at the Queens Hall here in Dunoon.
Next: nothing planned but it'll probably be Runrig (again!)
Rob
Last was kasabian at carling academy Newcastle, next, dunno, hopefully chemical brothers or Florence at some point, or primal scream if they're oop north again, saw them last year on Newcastle and blew me away
Last gig, Midlake in Liverpool on monday night, excellent live band.
Next, Oceansize (another great live band) in Newcastle in september although i suspect i'll go to another gig before this as september is some way off.
rusty trowel - MemberLast - Rollins spoken word (sort of a gig), next - New Model Army next month. Yes, i am old.
Funnily enough, I'm wearing my Henry Rollins 'Frequent Flyer Tour 2010' shirt at the moment. Saw him for the third time in Bournemouth in January.
Seeing NMA later in the summer too as I have never seen them before and Green & Grey is one of my favourite songs.
Oh and I've recently turned 30 which I used to think was old, but in STW years it's like being 12!
Last: KMFDM @ Academy 3, Manchester
Next: Amphi Festival - Cologne
Last - The La's in Manchester.
Next - probably not any time soon...
Seeing NMA later in the summer too as I have never seen them before and Green & Grey is one of my favourite songs.

Next, who knows? very broke, couldn't afford Mark Lanagan last night 😥
Broken Social Scene at Manc Academy 2 last Monday - brilliant 2 hr set!
Broken Social Scene at The Corporation, Sheffield this Friday ...I wouldn't normally go and see a band twice on the same tour but the missus missed the first show
Bonnie Prince Billy and The Cairo Gang at Manc cathedral in August
End Of The Road festival in September (I hope)
Broken Social Scene were great at ATP Pavement, I'd never seen them live before, but realise what all the fuss is about now.
Aaaah, Pavement. Best band ever? Certainly top 5. Malkmus is a genius.
I quite fancy ATP this December too. I went last year to the My Bloody Valentine curated weekend and saw 1 or 2 great sets; Sonic Youth, Sereena Maneesh, Joe Mascis and The Fog and the unmissable highlight was Lightning Bolt - twice!
Last was The Fall - still great after all these years.
+1 for Pavement. Gutted I haven't been able to get to see them.
Console myself with thought that next Arcade Fire album isn't far away now...
I really wish I could like Arcade Fire but I just can't 'get' them. Most folks I know who like what I like also like AF, so I can only assume I'm missing something.
Last Cara Dillon
Next Breabach
AFI Manchester.
Waiting for Gillian Welch or Black Crowes.
Last was Clutch @ Koko
Upcoming is Garcia playing Kyuss @ Electric Ballroom
Converge and Kylesa @ Concorde 2
Brant Bjork @ Underworld
Will always remember [Senser's] blistering set at Glastonbury 1994
I was there 🙂
Last gig: Killing Joke at Heaven last year some time I think. Not as good as their previous, legendary Forum gigs.
Next: Easy-Star All Stars at Larmer Tree festival. Then Roger Waters doing The Wall.
Last gig: Dropkick Murphys in April.
Next gig: David Ford, tonight at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds 😀
