Hoping to head up to Langdale tomorrow - not on the bike, just a bit of a walk and to take some pics. Hoping to get up to Blea Tarn. I'm guessing the little road up there from Langdale will be treacherous but does anyone know if the main road up Langdale is ok?

Was up in Borrowdale today and the roads were white but kinda fine, if that i any help.

Not much help for this year, but I was up there in similar conditions last winter, and whilst a little exciting in places, it was perfectly passable with care in a normal car.
The car park on the other hand... After getting out of car and watching it slither back down to the bottom in slow motion is kinda scary!
Plenty of webcams to give you an idea I would have thought
Cheers folks - it was fine on the main roads - no way i was going to try the little road past Blea Tarn.
Not sure it was worth the trip as the light was pretty flat, oh well......
