Can anyone recommend one?

Staying near Kendal so Hawkshead Brewery is the logical choice, but it's only 45 minutes long including a film, which seems a bit stingy.

Keswick's a possibility, Jennings a bit of a drive but willing to put myself out if worth it.
🙂

Thanks in advance.

What about the Lakes Distillery tour? Bit of a trek from Kendal though.

Shorter tour = more drinking time surely? Sounds like a win.

Is it really worth doing a brewery tour, they are all the same ?!?

Hawkshead Brewery and then nip over to the pub in Ings which has its own micro brewery

Just do Hawkshead, added bonus of other food and drink options meters away, plus a big bike shop.

Jennings and Lakes Distillery? They are about 5 miles apart. Do Jennings first then tour and food at the distillery.

Just done the Hawkshead tour.
🙂

Brilliant, cheers to Mark the brewer for a fun and informative hour or so.

Great place, if I had a time machine I'd like to go back to the early 80's and show people how far we've come since the days of fizzy crap.

We won.
Nice one.
