Looking at taking the family camping to the Lakes this summer, any suggestions for good camp sites, with all the necessary facilities to keep a wife and 2 kids(2 and 8) happy??

Just come back from Braithwaite campsite. The facilities would shame a lot of hotels. Nice flat pitches. Shop etc on site. Cost me £14 for the night for me & my little lad. 2 mins drive into kewsick and 2 mins up to whinlatter for a ride or walks etc. Obviously you have all the rest of the things in the lakes a relatively short drive away.
On the negative side its quite a bland site, could be anywhere really. Not exactly quiet because its busy, but we got to sleep at 9pm so no problems with noise.
If i was taking my wife camping this would be high on the list.
