Very distinctive voice that doesn't seem to have aged at all.
I'll be interested to hear some more of her own stuff. Tim Gane did Cavern of Antimatter a while ago that was interesting. Very Kraut/Space.
Any contenders for best Stereolab album? My vote would go for Dots and Loops, everything after that just didn't grab me.
Emperor Tomato Ketchup for me. Then probably Dots And Loops. Best comp is Refried Ectoplasm.
Aluminium Tunes was quite a good compilation!
I find a lot of their earlier albums had a lot of filler tracks though.
Mars Audiac Quintet. Though Miss Modular is my favourite song.
