Maybe I’m getting old, but what are they trying to prove with these and the “aren’t we naughty” images in the STW calender?
Anyway, shouldn’t the text be the other way up so you can tell The World to eff off (but very quietly in case anybody notices), or are Knog telling the customer who has just spent his bus fare and cider money on them where to go?
No understand. 🙄
They the retail equivalent of the little boy who used to draw knobs on the black board to impress the girls.
Me no understand either. Then again, I suspect a 50-something like me probably isn't the market they're targetting here...
On the plus side, at least they didn't write it on the fingers in a knuckle-tatt stylee, which would have been even sadder.
Cultural difference.
Australian brand.
draw knobs on the black board to impress the girls.
Hmmm I may have to add that to my election manifesto, fits perfectly into my education strategy.
I wonder if you are hunched in the drops overtaking some non-fixe total noob etc (on a 'drive on left' road like UK or Australia) then the rude word might read pretty easily to the 'overtakee'.
But yes, these will not sell like hot cakes over here methinks.
I don't get it either. More for s****ing 12 year-olds, than high-functioning men of the world like myself, I suspect... 😉
Puerile nonsense.
Talking of subway nobs. Was there a standardised number of dashes to represent the ejaculate? I think I used to do 4.
And some spikey ball hair too to finish off.
i'm not a fan of these glvoes either, however the other items like the lights and locks are pretty trick and are selling like hot cakes.
I think they're quite a unique brand, some of the things they write on the packaging of their stuff is also quite schoolboy but I have to admit it makes me chickle.

Says muff!
I've thrown the calendar out because of that picture - not really because of the lifestyle it promotes ( 😉 ) but because it's a cr@p picture completely out of place in a collection of otherwise decent images I'd like to see on my kitchen wall every morning.
Trying too hard to be funny.
The POW shockers (2 in the pink 1 in the stink) gloves manage to pull off the puerile much better!

What a waste of a perfectly good calendar just because of one picture. Did it not occur to you to find a nice pic on the net, print it off and stick it over the top, or recycle a pic from another calendar? Chucking it out is just dumb.
Anyone else a little dissapointed by the lights? Ace design, shite LED colouration and QC>
depends which lights? I have one that is really lovely in the dry and when it works, but terribly poorly protected against water (despite being reviewed in a couple of mags including ST as 'waterproof') but it is a few years old now, I would hope the newer ones are better.
Not on my shopping 'wish list' either!

Certainly didn't - in the words of Jack Nicholsons' character in 'A Few Good Men'; "...don't I feel like the blithering idiot..."
Rubbish adverts.
Knog = over priced, over stylized, poorly functioning toss
just my opinion though
I was impressed with Knog bags until I saw this baby:

I give up, I can't get that URL to format correctly 🙁

= fixie brigade..
they lap it up
that seems to be their general marketing style, I don't get it....
but I do like the original lights, reasonably cheap and do the job well!
HAHAHAHAH Fingerless gloves! You ****.
OH GOD MY HANDS ARE SO HOT!! WISH THERE WAS NO FINGERS ON MY GLOVES!!
.
Knog need to stop doing this for advertising, TBH. Naked girl imagery, looks a bit like a condom packet. There's enough sexism in the world already, I'd hope that the cycle world is above it all.
And *that* Laundromat advert they ran a while back...perleaseee. Yes, OK it's hot, but Im sort of tired of people muscling in on it (our sexuality) for their own titillation. Arrrggghhh.
Sorry, bad day. made worse by this sort of stuff...Feel better now though for ranting.
Chamomile tea I think. 🙄
...and I thought I was going to get flamed for starting this.
I am however coming round to the idea that there may be some method to their madness. With that in mind I will be launching my own range of trendy domestic cleaning wear aimed at the sister's jeans wearing fixie with attitude crowd.
What does your son think of it?
I like their smaller lights, like the Frog, Toad and Bullfrog. I've got a red Frog permanently attached to a recess in the back of my Xen, and a couple of White ones around the top of the aero bars on my 700c SS, while the Toad and Bullfrog just go onto whatever I'm riding at the time, as commute lights. They're so quick and easy to put on and off the bike, no brackets needed, and they're nice and bright.
I have washing up gloves just like that, so I don't get my telephone answering and chicken strangling hands mixed up. Makes life so much simpler.

What will the missus say more to the point when she sees that I've written COCK RING on the cleaning gloves?
I think that they produce those rude gloves to get a reaction in media (ie forums etc) which gives them cheap advertising. Much like rapha do with thing like the shaving kit.
Unfortunately unlike rapha most knog stuff actually isn't very well made or functional so they might actually be doing it to distract everyone's attention from their products.

I can't imagine anyone liking it, other than the 15 to 17 year-old crowd. And that's a constituency worth basing a business on. 🙄
they make great bags, cheap if you look around, as for the logo/graphic, don't like it, don't buy it. i'm sure Knog love the publicity you're giving them

I'm in the "nice design but not gone on their advertising" camp.
