Had a blast in some 20-30 knot winds on Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey this weekend with my 6' Flexifoil.

However, a bit of clumsiness on my part and a hefty gust from Mother Nature and I've snapped my flying lines.

Can anyone recommend some inexpensive replacement? Preferably online?

I weigh 14+ stone (and there's no risk of me getting airborn from a 6 footer) but what kind of load rating should I be looking for?

I was considering a spool of Dyneema from http://www.kiteworks.co.uk/Lines.shtml
I have sleeves, tying cords and a winder so dont really need a kit.
Any experience of them?
Cheers

150kg is about all you need on a 6 footer, usually fairly inexpensive. anything heavier and you'll drag the kite down too much. Its fairly easy to snap even 300kg lines with a badly timed gust.

Don't buy any new lines, but DO get some kitesurf lessons.....it will change your life!

You should be able to pick up some Flexi / Dyneema lines pretty cheaply, but don't go for something 'too cheap' as you usually get what you pay for

I have absolutely no intention of getting any kitesurf lessons.

I like to be dry after flying my kite. Not to mention alive.
๐Ÿ™‚

EIDT: or is "kitesurf" the rad new skool name for "flying a kite" these days?
