Does this mean we should be starting recall threads for all kitchen appliances?

Haha, ours was a wedding present 3 years ago but I'm pretty sure it didn't cost anywhere near that quoted price at the time #brexit?

Kitchenaid are part of the Whirlpool group who have a very poor record on sorting out recalls or notifying owners, e.g. the tumble dryers that all caught fire. Which? refuse to recommend any of their products as a result. Thought I'd start a thread to potentially stop someone getting burnt by a faulty kettle. If it stops just one accident it's worthwhile
