I'm just about to order the 3G version of the kindle and wondered if anyone else currently uses one? Saw one in the flesh today and was well impressed, user-interface is quite clunky but e-ink is very nice.

Yup, I just went for the wi-fi one though - didn't see the point in the 3G one. It's great, especially for holidays when you don't want to lug a load of books in luggage. You can get newspapers too!

I'd avoid the Amazon leather cover though, gives good protection but pricey and heavy.

Keyboard is only used (by me) for shopping in the store - searching for stuff. It's fine, I'm not going to be writing a novel on it.

Book availability is pretty good, you can have a look on amazon.co.uk in the Kindle store to see what's available.

I've got the Amazon leather cover but plan to replace it with a neoprene sleeve.
