Bloody freezing today, I know we had it much colder last yr but it feels very cold today. Don't envy you boys and girls who ride to and from work 😯

I'd rather be out in the cold on my bike than in my car. But I'm full of a cold, so car it is for a couple of days.

My car says it's -5 and there's a fair bit of windchill on top of that.

My 15 year old wore a polo shirt walking to and from school and can't see what the fuss is about. I think he has a bright future as a scaffolder, tbh.

It was -6 when I left for work this morning. There was an accident on the road near work and the tram was re-routed, giving me a 30 minute walk. It was a beautiful clear morning though, and the first coffee of the day when I finally got into work tasted bloody good.

Felt a bit nippy on my wide this morning, I think it was about -2*C on the car thermo.

The ground was amazingly dry and fast, best ride I've had for a while 🙂

No frost this morning, so assumed it was warmer. Nope.
Normally I warm up on my cycle in. Today I just got colder.

My fingers felt like each of them had their own personal hammerist this morning while de-frosting, I can't wait for the ride home. Oh and a trip to Wales at the weekend to get REALLY cold!

Been out riding today (Leeds woodland), a bit chilly but the ground isn't frozen 🙁 a bit boggy in places, practised getting air and watched the DH guys do it properly.

Comparing Russia to England when it comes to cold and snow, apples and oranges. I have been to Russia in temperatures of -20 and I find it more unpleasant and colder here in the UK sometimes, the wind chill in combination with the constant dampness in the atmosphere make it so.

-17degC for me here in Eastern Europe......locals are telling me its unseasonably warm as its usually -35.
Just hope to get job done and get the hell out of here before it drops further.
