I can't believe I've just watched this!
They are taking photos of the crossing, working their way across, I assume so they can produce a photographic replica of it. Probably in Tokyo.
Guy in the pink T-shirt is a dick too
Yeah, I was just thinking about taking back my "being even more dickish than most of the people there" having seen him
The producers of Big Brother have really missed a trick, haven't they 🙂
the sheet is off again...
Christ alive, a bloody Ford Luton squeezing between 'man with sheet' and a car coming the other way.
Barmy.
So - do you think the camera is pointing down at the road and they're just tiling the photos together to make the full thing?
But they've done the same bit loads of times!
It's hilarious how everyone lengthens their stride going across.
It's the only obvious reason I can see - otherwise they're just getting lots of the same picture of the sheet.
What an utter bunch of knob heads.
How do we know it's Abbey Road? The camera's pointing the wrong way isn't it?
Well yes, the camera is in the Recording Studio office innit?
And it is on Abbey Road, I stayed near there last year and recognise it. In fact, I think the Chinese lad that's walking across it right now was there last year, he's a big fan.
I can't really tell, john, with the resolution of that camera all those Chinese people look the same.
all those Chinese people look the same.
I thought they were Japanese?
I'm still stunned 3 weeks on. 7 seconds into watching, 4 guys stop and pose in the middle of the road. There must be a hundred people waiting to do the same. It's a zebra crossing!

That's strangely fascinating. I bet they'd all feel like a bunch of Richards if they knew they were on webcam.
You do realise that Japanese tourists really don't care, in fact they'll probably be looking for webcam coverage to see themselves. While they tend to be very conformist at home, they're remarkably un-selfconcious about being on camera.
