He must've been recalled for committing further offences and hence why they are keeping it quiet. If they don't he (or his lawyer) will claim he can't get a fair trial and do we really want him roaming out streets again through a petty error such as that! Frankly it's a tragic sad case and i'm not too interested in him and what he's up to any more. I feel for Denise Bulger/Fergus as it just drags it all up for her again and doesn't help.

Yeah, I agree with that - he'll probably get off with whatever he's been recalled for due to the media circus surrounding this case. My gut feeling is that someone from the MOJ opened their mouth in the wrong place, it leaked to the press, and now it's become a free for all. He'll claim his anonymity has been breached, probably be entitled to claim compensation, and the whole load of s**t will just keep piling up. It wont bring James Bulger back, it wont lessen the horror of the original case, and it wont make Denise Fergus' life any easier.

The knee jerk reaction for me - and most people is to wipe him off the planet, but as said 10yr olds can't be executed unfortunately

And all the while you and Steffybhoy continue to consume oxygen, it's a truly tragic world.

OK badly worded - i didn't say I agreed with it - however your saying the world would be a better place minus myself is a little OTT ๐Ÿ˜‰

he's had his second chance and f*cked up again, I hope they throw the book at him

This whole circus is a terrible indictment on our country - I can think of few other places when the media can whip up a lynch mob of the self righteous so effectively - I really wonder what millenium let alone century I'm living in(although it does have shades of 1984).

They commited a terrible crime when they were 10 years old and one of them now seems to be being retried by the court of Sun reading public opinion as if he had committed the crime as an adult today. Think back to what your understanding of right & wrong and the consequence of your actions were when you were 10.

The public has no right to know about the current issues (even if they are genuine and not simply set up by some insider with media links). The current storm of sham outrage is not helping anyone actually involved with this case, including the Bulger family.

Similar case elsewhere in the world have been handled very differently (viz Norway). Think for yourself and not what the gutter press tell you to think and put your righteous anger towards a more productive target.

Well said Norton.

Some folk on this thread need to be ashamed of themselves. Th treatment of Venables and Thompson is a stain on our society.
