Who is going to shoot you down? I would have thought it is widely accepted Gran Torino, along with most of Clint's output in his later years, have been very solid.

It's flawed in lots of ways but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent film - one of my all time favourites. Just worried that it might have been Clint's swansong ๐Ÿ™

I believe he's said it's the last time he'll be that side of the camera.

Have you seen 'The Shootist'?

I liked it, very good messages in there.

Also, when one considers that CE could have "pulled up the ladder" ages ago, its really good to see him still wanting to work and say something through his films.

Quite like some of those 70s cars too.

Its a thimbs up from me.

Ah yes - I know he did both but I knew what I meant (even if nobody else did).

In front.

If you have not seen;

Million Dollar Baby...

Then you are missing a Clint Eastwood (Directed) classic..

Simply brilliant....

Great film. Really enjoyed it. The Mong people featured in Gran Torino were generally newbies or amateur actors but I thought the supporting cast played their part well. He can cut it in front and behind the camera and is a legend of cinema. The dirty harry films, the man with no name films, million dollar baby, unforgiven, the list goes on.......

just watched it, good film, really quite predictable, the end was obvious once he'd been to confession, but nevertheless enjoyable, thought the girl was good
