........ 😯

They really don't like blokes there, do they?
I'm so blessed to be married to my wife, she is an angel sent from heaven. Especially compared to some on that website. I pity the poor husbands/partners.

I was genuinely quite scared reading some posts. :-/

Best to hang around here then, with people who seemingly don't like women 🙂

The opposite to dirty is clean although in this instance I'll accept fresh.
The opposite to Old is young.
Yes woman is opposite to man.

Hope that clears things up 😀

But Jesus have you seen the (reported) behaviour of some of the poor women's partners on there? Makes me realise I've been setting the bar way to high in my dealings with Mrs PB. (Just joking in case you're reading this darling)

Also makes me want to educate my two young daughters on how to spot/avoid an abusive relationship.

Have a look on the older threads on there. Hora started a great one a while back about having your back doors kicked in. Soliciting opinions for and against

Its possibly the finest trolling I've ever seen. Even by his standards. The tool! And love him or hate him, you have to adsmit he's the master*

Pistonheads mods' reaction to a raid from their site over was funny 'just leave it, its just too much hassle/pain to bear with'.

😆

As a kid growing up I encountered bitter middle-aged men in the road cycle club..... I never thought that there was also a place where lots of bitter middle-aged women congregate before now...

My missus spends a huge amount of time on there as she's on maternity leave. Seems to me to be a site popluated by gossiping fish wives and I get to hear the entire saga of 'what happened on Mumsnet today' when I get home from work. 🙄

Concerning the stuff about bastard partners, it's made her both incredibly grateful for what she has, but insecure with it.

Just had a peep out of morbid curiosity - they certainly like their abbreviations don't they? AIBU? seems to be a favourite, to which the answer is invariably, no, of course not sweetie, you go girl, chuck him out etc. etc. I can't help feeling if someone posted on here with a serious, partner related, whinge it would take about three posts before someone said 'errm, talk it through with them?' Posting a similar issue on mumsnet seems like metaphorically tossing them to a pack of hysterical, bitter hyenas. May be the garden fence of the cyber age.

(actually it is "Am I Being Unreasonable", a rhetorical question to which the implied answer is "Of course not, your DH is clearly a monster")

Well... given the subject matter that he was asking about, do a search on the key words involved. There are some absolutely hilarious threads on the subject, some or all of which may have been started by The Enigma himself using his female alter-ego 😉

They're even allowed to swear profusely in their thread titles! And write the Jeremy Hunt word. Maybe we could petition for a bike section on mumsnet? Then we can all be adults on the interweb again.

The Southern Crumpet,

You are our ambassador, our roving reporter, I wish all the best in your endeavour, you might just be my hero. If it is too much fun for one small anarchic totty then phil and I may just have to join you.

Asking for advice on parenting.

Hmmm

Its not the same as asking for advice on 'why is my clutch making this noise'.

i.e. its not clear-cut.

I really wouldn't want someone else telling me how I should treat my pride and joy like theirs. Or cast/question/cast scorn on how I've done something.

Half of them would recoil if I said ours sleeps in bed with us. (Yeah thanks for that Brant!).

After all, I visit the nursery and none of the kids there are as superior as Zachary Horacek

Hora, they wouldn't there are loads of co-sleepers on there 🙂

It's a good place to ask for advice on parenting as there are so many opinions, you get a wide range of suggestions.

I've so many topics lined up in my head. All the things that I've wanted to ask on here but have been scared of the abuse I'd get.

I think I need a couple of weeks to build up my profile on there before I feel confident asking the important questions...

'When should I tell my partner I'm pregnant again?'

'Why does my baby bump put him off?'

'What cake for losing weight?'

'What cake for losing weight?'

LOL at TSY.

I was talking to a menopausal lady the other day who was trying to convince me that she had discovered a cake (she had to eat every day) that would reduce the effects of the menopause. Meanwhile, why the hell was she putting on weight? It must be that damn time of life thing.

I guess it is a perennial question!

C_G apart form cycling I'm staying in this weekend so I might wait until tonight to start posting. I have an actual job to do that I think might get neglected if I start posting this morning.

I think Sammie was already taken. Plus posting under an amalgamation of my christian and surname on mumsnet will make me chuckle regardless of the content of my posts...

What second username for hitting on single mums on mumsnet?

I don't even really know where Sammie Louise Taylor came from. I decided TSY fancied being a girl for the day and SLT had a nice cute but naughty ring to it that I thought would stir some interest from mtbers. Also subconciously the acronym is only missing the letter U!

My favourite quotes from bum sex thread;

"not with my piles and bum problems, no didley way!"

"debris?? There would be debris?? I've just gone right off my branflakes."

Cheered me up no end.
