Wife and I have android phones, numerous pc's in the house but have got the kids second hand iphones for xmas. What's the best way to set this up, have a parental itunes account then family sharing to the kids accounts, or is there another better way?
Can I just say now that itunes has be to be the worst program ever created so expect eejit questions!
iTunes is pretty decent once you get the hang of it. No worse or better than the Play store.

As with Play store you need to be careful with in app purchases. There are plenty of rip off "childrens" games lurking out there. iTunes seems to be a bit easy to lock down though. You can set it to request the password for every download.
