Finally the big day that we've all been looking forward to no doubt. I've got a box of quadruple choc cookies which look like they'll nicely offset all the riding I've done this week. Nom.

(And remember to make a note of National Cream Tea day coming on June 26th. Or should that be 26th June if you're one of those types that insists on doing it in the wrong order)

I don't think I've bought a pack of biscuits in 35 years, I'm not sure I'll beak the habit for this special day but if anyone offers me one at he end of a 2m stick I'll eat it just to mark the day

A home-baked, low-carb, keto approved choc chip cookie. Or a home-baked, low-carb, keto approved peanut butter choc chip cookie.
Or both.
I had no idea what today was, so it's lucky I was bored and out of keto treats yesterday.

Foul!

Not a biscuit.

A cake.

I will be having home-made ginger biscuits that aren't actually ginger biscuits because my daughter accidentally put mixed spice in instead of ginger so they taste like Christmas. I am the only person in the house that likes them.

Merry Christmas!

Simple yet so good. McVities used to do a dark chocolate ginger nut which was AMAZING. They don't seem to do them anymore and the only thing that comes close are the Borders Dark Chocolate Gingers which are fully coated. I like half-coated.

garibaldi - the ultimate. Just unbeatable in almost any situation. Up a hill - garibaldi, dunk in tea or coffee - garibaldi, small pack size - garibaldi, one of your five-a-day - garibaldi.

Or fig rolls as a close second.

I like a tortina - but those cherry bakewell digestives are now firmly on my must try biscuit list.

Home made cinnamon macaroons, baked by the lovely Mrs. P for me at the moment, but I may be tucking into a cheap & dirty Morrisons own brand digestive or 2 in a while.

Fig rolls, buttered digestives and a pack of mini cheddars, so far. I'm craving Abernethy right now, but don't know who sells them, or lemon cream puffs for that matter.

The turnip of the biscuitverse. Put them anywhere near a different biscuit and that biscuit will taste a tad gingery. They are nice though.

I’m partial to dark chocolate hob nobs or those really cheap cream selections where you get custard, strawberry and two other unknown flavours. One might be coconut. Low carb keto biscuits can get in the ****ing sea. Biscuits aren’t healthy, what you’re making is an abomination 😀

Shocked to discover that every day isn’t national biscuit day because it is in my house.

I extremely ashamed to say, and with great feelings of sadness, we don't have any biscuits. The one *&"£ing day!
