chicken, rice and peas marinaded in a garlic periperi, smokey bbq plus a sweet and sticky periperi marinade. films and good company.
i forgot about the f1 on sunday... what a jolly good weekend this could be 🙂
mostly cleaning my minging house, catching up on various family issues and helping sort things with my mum & dad, got back from honeymoon today to be told my nan died last Saturday. Mum & Dad didn't want to spoil our honeymoon so waited til we got back to tell us and in true family style, a death seems to be bringing out the worst in certain selfish members. so all in all a great start to being back! 🙁

it was nice, a big thing for them to do really, we are very close and would under other circumstances been the first people to know. I have no doubt it will be a horrendous few weeks now, I have a very volatile family and there is nothing like a will to set things off. Luckily my nan didn't have much so I might be worrying about nothing.

Edit: hey emsz wedding and honeymoon were absolutely fab thank you, nice to be back though not so nice to get the news about nan, sucks it really does. Feels very weird to know that she's been gone since Saturday and I'm only hearing it today, feels like a right mind f*** iykwim
I'm off to Ludlow food festival with my new wifey tomorrow 🙂 Hopefully get a road ride in on Sunday too.....although I'll probably be eating and drinking Saturdays purchases!
