In an email client when you press 'send', if you chose "Reply All" ... it should remind you of this BEFORE SENDING.

Arrange followup meeting option in outlook, without the ctrl-dragdrop and then having to amend content and then send update.

Text messaging that detects when you're messaging something private and pops up the face of the person you're sending to so that you don't send it to the wrong person..

And perhaps a suggestion about a BCC option when you have hundreds of email addresses in the To: box!

The outlook team go and use Gmail and the calendar for a few weeks to work out how simple you can make something that works really well

@Pjay - Really you should only be able to put one email address into the To: field, everyone else goes in to the CC: or BCC: fields. Might make it awkward for distribution lists which get expanded before you send them.

@mikenewsmith +1 to that. Outlook is better known as Outhouse as it's full of ...

One feature that I'd like to see (and some sites have implemented it) is rather than an all or nothing  "Do you agree to accept cookies?" question you get a choice over which cookies you allow. If you've not visited recently go to AA Route Planner and you can accept/decline their cookies, third party cookies, trackers, advert cookies.

Yes, I should have put CC:; I've seen a few mishaps with people using CC: instead of BCC:. (I don't think that Outlook displays BCC: by default).

Word to not rearrange every single last pixel in a document if you dare to think about modifying a table or the position of a picture.

Screw that, that's even more shite to click through.  I want a global "yes, I accept cookies already, get on with it" button on the browser rather than having to agree to it for the bazillionth time on another website.

Visio to make it possible to line stuff up regardless of magnification setting (in situations where I can't use auto alignment...).

For McAfee & Fireeye not to completely hose my laptop performance whilst running an enforced scan

For our corporate VPN connection to not require me to enter credentials and token details multiple times

I don't think you understand. It takes time to screw up a perfectly good mail client. Google are no doubt on the case but are playing catch-up.

Nixie,

I've tried its not an option,

You can select that view but it defaults back next time you open it, unlike Gmail

We can do that when we've left the EU. #TakeBackControl

A bucket that holds my data, and against each category I can say "Private" or "For Sale". Each time some corporation or another wants to track me, they can if I have selected "For Sale", but they have to give me 1p each time that piece of data is used, referred to or referenced in an algorithm.

Someone please build that.

Before that. The new EU ePrivacy regulation (beyond GDPR) will provide exactly this control. UK might adopt it as UK law once/if we've left. No control taken back as nothing lost, as usual.

Simpler rules on cookies: the cookie provision, which has resulted in an overload of consent requests for internet users, will be streamlined. The new rule will be more user-friendly as browser settings will provide for an easy way to accept or refuse tracking cookies and other identifiers. The proposal also clarifies that no consent is needed for non-privacy intrusive cookies improving internet experience (e.g. to remember shopping cart history) or cookies used by a website to count the number of visitors.”
