First paragraph sums me up pretty well and although I have worked in IT for close on 20 years I have very little knowledge of it.

I'm not in IT, not portly and don't drive an Audi. Does this make the article a waste of interweb space?
There's plenty of this around though;

how they "smoked some downhillers" whilst riding their rigid on-one wearing a blindfold on the black route.
