Depends on what you're buying and selling, I use Talkphotography a lot but they have very very strict rules on buying and selling, but once you're allowed they can be very good and I've bought and sold quite a bit on there.
The forums are pretty good, again pretty heavily moderated, compared to here where I've only ever been told off by Chipps once, when a load of us invaded a parrot owners forum and caused a 'little' bit of trouble...
