[Closed] is there a way to copy videos from mpora, vimeo, dirt tv etc.?

my daughter is making a short film for her drama class and was going to use some helmetcam footage. unfortunately mine is bust so i was trying to get some off the tinterweb for her. however, im a computer tard so please help!

you can do it - i've grabbed clips from youtube before. you'll need to download a piece of 'media capture' software. cant remember the name of the one i used but i would have just stuck that or something similar into google and downloaded the one that sounded most appropriate and free. and the first one i used worked!

if you use firefox as a web browser, then there is a plug-in for firefox called 'download helper' that will record most online videos. It only saves thme as .flv files for the ones I've tried. They play in realplayer.
