the replaceable mech hanger? recent ride, serious large rock to mech area while descending at speed. frame, fine. xtr rear mech, fine. mech hanger, bent and now replaced. superb stuff.

Steel frames better - just bend them back...though maybe the mech would still break.

I hate replacable mech hangers, never seem to do their job. Two frames I've had they've snapped with no impact, one pulled the threads from the frame with an impact (how, when held by the QR, I've no idea).

Burn them
