Not yet, but I am sure when it does the population will run lemming like to their cars to get stuck on the A30 again ๐ Popcorn and beers ready near the window...
It won't be long.......
That's just the support act though - if it hits London a national emergency will be declared
i have to travel north of london from southampton tomorrow morning,
is there any chance that i will make it?
Naa, I dont know, I think we did pretty well at making a huge fuss about it when the snow hit on the 21st.
But it was nice how smily some where as we pushed them up the hill, poor buggers must have forgotten the other two or three before the next village ๐
Mind you having been all glib and stuff we only just made it back from Reading, the last hill was a little tricky. But... then we left the car at home and walked to pick up the kids, it was quite nice walking the few miles in the snow all geared up and ready for it.
Just started to snow a little in Basingstoke now. Settling on untreated roads etc. Small flakes, nothing like last time ( yet ).
Got about 0.5cm down the road in Newbury. Settling too. MTB to work tomorrow!
http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ also shows where the snow is currently falling.
I'm right in the middle of Newbury and Basingstoke and we've got quite heavy snow, settling on all but the main road.
Snowing now on the sunny caribean island of Hayling.
Collegue reckons 1 -2" in Four Marks already this evening.
Snow Chains in the car ready for the morning.
