I quickly scanned that article. It’s main thrust appears to be being snippy about everyone who provides him with information rather than making cogent arguements.

When you start talking about shadowy elites sending us back to the stone age I think you’ve abandoned any pretence of being objective

That.  It's all about reinforcing the idea that there is an elite out to stuff us rather than real arguments.  The answers to the few points that are actually put are out there and well known but that doesn't really matter to that man 🙁

Alex22 joined on 14/12 2023 and there's anything to suggest it's anything other than a spamming climo-sceptic troll account.

*lost interest and jumped to end to post this*

The number one UK "scientist" named in that Climate Consensus link was Christopher Monckton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley 😂

so if we abolish climate science then the problem goes away, nice lets crack on.

Yeah ok I obviously made my point very badly.

I was trying to point out that the messenger in this case seems to have an opinion that affects the message, not that if we ignore it it'll go away. Because it won't. The OP seems to have though. Makes you think.

well he's obviously ever so qualified and clever because he is a pilot we shouldn't be questioning it. You've just been on a fancy driving course mate

What actual data, holes in peer reviewed work has actually been called out in the article? What new information is it declaring? One graph, that isnt explained given as fact. No analysis.

When an author uses the word dunces, scam, elites etc, it pretty much loses all credibility.

It's widely accepted that fear and ignorance fuels the majority of conspiracy theory pushers.

I'll let others add "characteristics" if necessary..

Christ not this again. The main scam doing the rounds about climate change is that we're all doomed and there's no point doing anything about it. It's just another pathetic attempt from the fossil fuel lobby to pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

If you want to read something informative about climate change then try this.

the idea that there is an elite out to stuff

There is an elite out to stuff us, it just isn't an organised group just many wealthy powerful people who use that wealth and power to buy and influence politics for their own benefit against the general good. Which is why their has not been enough action on climate change. Even though actually investing in com batting climate change would produce large scale employment in green industries and drive wealth into the working population rather than the asset owning classes. It is that apparent re-distribution of wealth why some/many highly wealthy people fund the "climate change conspiracy" IMO.

I miss when they pick very select parts of the temperature data to prove the planet is cooling. Or the "You said there was going to be an ice age" what aboutary.
