It seems that if you use the "search forum" facility you can only find usernames if that username has come up in the subject or content of a post.

Is there a way to search for posts by a particular user? Apologies if this is a dumb question and I've missed something obvious.

Cheers

use advanced search and select posts by user name from the drop down box. Give it a few seconds to populate the username list though.

...or just go to the user's forum history if you're not after something specific

Stoner - didn't realise I had to wait for the list to populate. Makes sense though.

Cheers

...I should also have pointed out that you get the link I gave by clicking on the "Member" to the right of the username at the top of a forum post.

...or you can copy and paste "http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/profile/XYZ" into the address box of your chosen browser and replace XYZ with the user's forum name if you know it.
