We’ve got a free (ish) Sunday after the company Christmas do and will be driving home from Cheshire to Oxfordshire (pretty much past Cadbury World) and wonder if it’s worth the time and money, if not can you recommend any alternatives?
black country museum
heritage motor museum
motorcycle museum
all far closer to the motorway
I went when I was young and enjoyed it, good to see how chocolate is made. I now work for Cadbury so get to see it all the time and occasionally, strictly for quality control reasons, test some 🙂
As said above, The Black Country Museum is better and closer to the motorway.
I enjoyed Cadbury world when Mrs North and I went there 10+ years ago. But it was a bit of a novelty.
Heritage Motor Museum is good, and easy to get to as said above. Depends which part of Oxfordshire you live in if it seems worth stopping (it's a junction up from Banbury).
How much would the weather affect the Black Country Museum? As we'll probably be a little hung over, which would be more hangover friendly?
Dont go to Cadburyworld - seriously under-whelming.
How about PC World?
No
done Cadbury World
sorry should say been done
don't go, it's proper shite
bit poor. Seaworld in Brum is worth a trip though.
Cannock chase...?
Been to Cadburyworld.
Can't think of any reason I'd go back.
If you're bored and like chocolate or have loads of friends who are bored as hell.
I'd rather do/recommend something else!
We'll be giving Cadbury World a miss then, thanks.
I thought it was pretty average, and pretty expensive. Would not go again.
just buy some cadburys dairy milk, eat in the car, make journey more pleasant
