For my old man for crimbo....he's only got a 1st gen shuffle so they'd have to have a headphone jack as opposed to going through a USB.
Looking for something classy and good quality as opposed to some of the cheap ones you can find on ebay for about a tenner.
So a good sound quality, lightweight, headphone compatible speaker I seek.....does such a thing exist?

I have one of the logitech 3 i stations, which has the input you need and does everything i need for travel speakers
If he has the 1st generation shuffle then I would suggest buying him a nano instead of the speakers 🙂
altho I later bought the JBL soundstage I started with JBL "on tour"
and liked them very much.. just got to be a hassel dealing with the cables and headphone jack
