Don't really want to do this myself with a fleabay kit so does anyone have any recommendations for a goode repair service for a bust iPod touch screen?
Is it worth doing straight to Apple?

Best buy the screen with the cradle already fitted as they're pretty easy to snap taking the old screen off. Plus saves you the hassle of trying to locate the new screen onto it.
Easy enough to do, just take your time and be gentle with it. When you buy the kit it will (should)come with the the tool for removing the old screen.
