Let me see now....
The National Gallery
The National Portrait Gallery
A concert at Smith's Square
A concert in the Crypt at St Martin's in the Fields
Some jazz in Pizza Express in Soho
Sample the astonishing beer list at Cask in Pimlico
Look around some of the outdoor/ski toy shops in Covent Garden area
London Eye
Take a decent bottle in Gordon's and chat the evening away
etc. etc. etc. etc.

Head down to the South Bank.

There's usually something on (sometimes for free), and even if there isn't there's usually some free exhibitions in the Royal Festival Hall or National Theatre. Or take up bike polo.

I like to just wander aimlessly around covent garden/leicester square area, lovely. Often live music on in the garden too.

If they're doing a late opening at the zoo or science museum, those are ace... Adults only, bars and djs, and you get to go and muck about on the kids' interactive stuff

get on the boat from westminster to Greenwich, wander up the hill to the observatory. You'll get to see a fair bit just doing that.
