Spent a lot of my youth on a pair of inline skates before I leant more towards bikes and grew up! I now live a sensible distance from Morecambe seafront and was there after work yesterday and saw the odd person skating up n down. I'm now thinking of getting a pair to park up at one end, mooch my way down the front and then turn and head back. Thinking the dog would enjoy it (yes he will obviously be trained to do so) as well, two birds with one stone and an alternative to the biking/SUPing and canicross that he will also do. Can anybody recommend a decent budget pair to do just that as I'm totally out of the loop?

Decathlon? Like all things Decathlon won't set anyone's heart racing but will work.
Otherwise my daughter loves her Seba skates but up a level in price 🙁
If you need three pairs, I'd go with the cheapest...
I agree with Leffe. I've had several pairs of Seba skates and they have all been excellent, but the value offered by the decathlon skates looks unbeatable.
However the biggest factor with any skates is the fit, which is really personal. If you wanted to get some advice from a shop, who also offer free returns / replacement if the skate doesn't fit, then the I can highly recommend the team at Loco skates. They are all skaters and really helpful.
These are lovely but probably a tad more expensive than you're looking to pay Adapt masterpiece
Binnerette number 2 is on her second set of decathlon inline skates (she outgrew the first set)
They’re really good quality for the money (we were skating every week) so probably a good place to start
Funnily enough I've decided to get back into skating recently. Used to blade in the 90's loads. Skate parks, street and hockey. I'm booked in for a skate fitting at loco skates on Friday.
I had a go on my 20 year old pair the other day, they were cheap ones and really uncomfortable and left me with a blister so I'm going to treat myself to a decent modern pair.
