Lovely stuff. Too much ridin' and rugby to do anything proper. But here's my 'Build' pic, with apologies to a certain STWer 🙂

Anyway here's my entry for "build":
#inktober2019

(and got me some mixed-media paper today, works lovely with my cheapo Lidl watercolour pens 🙂 )

Not much of a chance today. Just a building in the distance. Concept sketch for an art installation...mayby.

Poor neighbours had a leak/flood a few days ago. I also today spied a little M C Escher book in the charity shop (a smaller edition of one I used to have). Didn’t buy it. So inspired, redid this old sketch from earlier in the year:

‘Insomnia’ (or ‘Tessellating & Turning’)

Redthunder - that landscape is ace by my reckoning. Is it opposite Lydney?

Not quite oppisite Lydney but a little bit further downstream. Similar litteral terrain though.

I’m determined to learn to draw. Been trying on and off for a few years but never really cracked it. Inktober seems a good place to start though so will attempt a few of the themes that take my fancy.

This is my effort for Ring. Excuse the crudeness but I’m still pretty happy - pretty much only my second ever effort at a serious sketch. The last one was some years ago...

Edit: should say this was drawn using my iPad Pro and AutoDesk SketchBook.

Bit boring, but reminds me of a day on holiday with my boy (more of him later, as they say) when the snow had all but disappeared and there were huskies sat panting in the sun and we went and said hello to them. Beautiful dogs.

And the boy's effort. Has more imagination than me, clearly 🙂

Went a bit wrong, but it’s done, so it’s going up. Supposed to be Amy Adams Cos she’s, like in the film.. but I was enchanted by her brilliant acting in Sharp Objects so done her off of that (sort of)

Enchanted

Late, but it could be said that I am both disenchanted with the theme and the outcome! Tis somewhat representative of being carted off to a National Trust house or places like Stone Henge, and all the adults being 'Enchanted' with the surroundings, whereas I the kid was always much more impressed with the packet of Dolly Mix from the petrol station, heathen I know!
