I have a fully working Imac G3 with various software including Photoshop Elements (although I can't get that to load at the moment) which was given to us. Dates from about 2000 I think.
It seems a considerable waste to take it to the dump but I have no use for it. Is there likely to be anyone who would want it? I can't find a local outfit that takes on older IT equipment for onward use (Exeter).
A local school might take it off your hands. Could be worth a try.
School/charity/public organisation unlikely to have it, due to it being a CRT, and there's all sorts of silly H+S regulations now on the use of computers, but someone will have it for sure. I would if I lived in Exeter! I've got two and they both work fine, if maybe a little 'slow' comparatively.
Gumtree/Freecycle etc.
Turn it into a fish tank
It's got holes in it.
I'd hang on to it. In 10 or 20 years I suspect they will have a lot of retro-chic, be worth a bit and there be a whole cult around them.
