She says she will either send a cheque or paypal. I can't be ar5ed with cheques.

If I give her my email address she can pay me via paypal, that's fine, but can she get into my account and take money from my bank?

I'm not sending her my password by the way.

The main point of Paypal is so buyers/sellers don't have to share bank details.
The person paying you, is paying the money to your registered Paypal email address...they have no way of accessing your Paypal account, let alone your bank account.
If you haven't got a Paypal account, you get an email from them where you can go onto their site and transfer the money to your bank account instead.

You think it would work if she could access your account?

Concern is that she then raises a dispute after receiving the item. Do you know anything about her...is it high value etc.

[edit] sorry I think you're posting it to them. Ignore me.

Yes, posting via recorded delivery. Not high value, £20. Don't know anything about her but the goods are new boxed, unopened, absolutely as described. What would she say in a dispute - accuse me of sending something totally different, or empty boxes, but then the postage would be less.

I know it sounds like a silly question but, although I am quite clever, I sometimes do colossally stupid things. 😳

It doesn't sound like you sold the item on Ebay so I'm not sure why people are claiming she could dispute it.

Get her to Paypal gift it to you...that way you don't lose out on fee's.
