I lived in Eindhoven for 9 months- i'm sure there used to be jump track beside the railway line not far from the Beukelen (sp?) station.
where's good to get a cheap bike to commute on? I'm hoping to see some about wilhemeina place/square/street (?) on fri and sat, but the only offer is something from a guy in an alley for 5Euro...

There's a few places that sell 2nd hand bikes. I got mine out of the bike shop just behind PSV stadium. I was recommended to go there by a roadie local in the office and the guy was really helpful. 80 euro for a decent 'station fiets' with the all important rack and saddle bags.
The bike shop at the end of the big street with all the bars on it (can't remember it's name) also has a load of 2nd hand bikes.
