Staying at Holiday Inn on Aytoun Street and meeting friends driving over from Chester tonight. Just need somewhere with decent ales...even in 2/3rd pint glasses and maybe the option of a decent burger. Won't really be up for touring from pub to pub all evening. Don't mind a 10-15 minute walk or short taxi ride.
You're near Piccadilly so pretty central. Port Street Beer House, Brewdog, Piccadilly Tap is right near you. I like the Oast House and Sinclairs too.

The Angel and Marble Arch. Bar Fringe also. They do food in the Marble arch - the cheese board especially!!
For a burger try Solita on Turner Street in the Northern Quarter.

Matt and Phreds? Beers only OK but the music is good and it's got a cracking atmosphere.
