Did you just hear that faint popping sound? I think it may have been Lanesra imploding.

I thought the 3rd goal was sublime. Real guts by Lucas to win the ball, great vision by Benayoun, and Kuyt's cross in was testament to his tremendous work rate. A superb move.

Ooh I don't know; Insua has looked pretty good at times, marauding forward. Kyrgiakos was solid though. I think it was a great team effort for once; Benfica showed they are a dangerous side but Liverpool kept them at bay.

The farce of the 'offside' first goal was incredible. Offside from a corner?? WTF is the point of those extra officials?? 6 altogether, and they still can't get things right! Madness.

Liverpool have the momentum now, let's hope they don't **** it up.

the ref thought it was flicked on so not a direct ball , Insua is a weakness and will be a focal point for opposing teams to attack he also loses the ball too much for a full back IMO

Again with the 'Fred'? Enough with the Fred already; Oy Vey.. ๐Ÿ™„

Hmm, but Johnson is sometimes exposed on the right, but his forward runs cause havoc with opposing defences.

Was an enjoyable game to watch, and at 3-1, was the exact same scoring sequence as the Bayern-Man U games! Was very nervous until the 4th goal. Hope their 1st goalie is ok. Looked like he was suffering from a head injury; he was all over the place. ๐Ÿ™

Bobby Zamora's 20 second stunner for Fulham was pure class. Did you see it? How can Cappello leave him out now?

Here we go. Proof that you can't get more than two scousers together without them disecting the latest refereeing decsion in which they were robbed.

You'll be going straight to the Europa cup this time though eh chaps. Without the frightful inconvenience of all that Champions League nonsense eh? ๐Ÿ˜€

They've got Torres, it's probably catching... you should try listening to Atletico Madrid fans talk, far, far worse.

binners ,after our performances this season any result will do ,liverpool very lucky that the teams around them are beating each other spreading the points
binners , no bitterness at all here just love watching all football

zamora ,not sure if he has the skill on the big stage or if he could take a world class defender go through him all game but he has a steve bull quality about him a bit unorthodox ,could be worth a punt though

problem with any woman from liverpool is that no matter how attractive they may look, and intelligent they might be, they have that hideous whiney accent

I am indeed. So the less said about this weeks European football this week the better.

I'm also going to have to go through the uncomfortable experience of supporting you lot for 90 minutes as I reckon you're the only ones who could potentially beat Chelsea and hand us the premiership

I think I could sit and savour the irony of that one for years ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes, obviously a win will be nice, but I can't help but prefer Chelsea to pip Man U to the post. Stops them getting the 19th title. I really don't want to be in the position that a Liverpool win over Chelsea means success for United. That would be horrible. That would be like handing it to them on a plate. Bastards. ๐Ÿ™

Its brilliant isn't it? Your potential (slim) chance of a top four finish might depend on you doing us a favour. Its just.... its just.... beautiful. I could cry. I may go undercover and watch in a pub in Liverpool. Just to watch the confusion ๐Ÿ™‚

It's certainly shaped up to be an exciting season, there's no doubt. I'm just pissed off Liverpool have been so shit this year, and not been challenging like last year. 4-1 at Old Trafford was just special. Spurs, Man City and Villa only have a chance of 4th due to Liverpool's slump, simple as.

Back to the horse racing, I live about a mile from Chester racecourse and it really is a festival of poor taste and spray-tans everytime there is a meet.

4-1 at Old Trafford was just awful. Walked out before the end as I'd seen enough. But like a lot of people, I've been mystified by your drop in form since last season. Its the same squad minus Alonso. We lost our best player and got on with it. And you've still got Torre!!! Does not compute
