Does anyone know where i could get a nice illuminated globe for a living room. Got a friend who's travelled a bit and likes that sort of thing. Tried the shrinking rainforest but theirs's are for schooling and classrooms. Bonus of course, if England was very small.

Stanfords is the only place you'll need for that. If you're within sensible travelling distance of London, it's worth a trip to visit, a brilliant shop.

Best part of £1400 for a desk globe and yet they aren’t illuminated (that I can see)? Oh me gee!

Some of those Bellerby & Co globes are truly lovely. I have always wanted a really nice globe but short of a lottery win I think Mrs D would be driven back to drink if I spunked £80k on one 😀
