Shouldn't be, usually, when I put something into Photobucket, I tap on the photo, then on the link icon at top, like so:

Tap on the IMG code window, 2nd up, which will copy to your pasteboard, then you just paste into the reply box here.
The first attempt you made looks like a Flickr link, rather than Photobucket, which is odd, if you use the link window.
In your first attemp, the bit you'd use is in bold:
[b] .html?sort=3&o=2&_suid=135595989873805362116517160791
Then paste into the IMG box when you tap the little icon at the top of the reply box, BUT, you delete the HTTP//: that's already there, then paste.

Bugger! My advice sucks. Just tried that, and it didn't work. And my pads battery has just died so I'm back to the phone now.
Hmmm, I'm at a loss as to why your phone won't work, it should be platform agnostic, so I'm fresh out of ideas, I'm afraid. Sorry. 🙁

The push bike picture was sent via flickr on my laptop.
spent god knows how long trying to do the same on my phone. You just can't copy on it. You are supposed to press link to highlight it then again to copy. Pressing it again just uncopies it.
Life is too short,if I am in dire need of sharing something I shall just decribe it.

This link won't work. That's a link to a page, not an image. Whenever you have a link to an image it will end with the file extension, i.e. .jpg, .png, .gif, etc, but usually .jpg.

If you have that link, and it's wrapped in [ i m g ] tags, it should work, regardless of where it was posted from.

If you're having problems on one machine and not another, I would guess that perhaps the link you're copying isn't the right one.
