Some friends of mine chose Bette Middler and Grace Jones. One things for sure they knew when it was right.

I was at a film awards in Byron Bay and it was fancy dress. There was a few blokes there in drag. I went up to one of them and said'jesus mate you're ugly'. Even as the words were coming out I realised it was a real woman.
A quick analysis of the situation revealed that there was nothing I could say to put the situation right, so I turned around and walked off.
I should now like to apologise. But she did look like a bloke!
